Open Studio's "Calling in the Muse" Exhibition

In Submerged, I explore the complexity of icebergs, the majestic and magical glacial masses of ice that challenge us to look under the surface to see what's "beyond the tip”. My creative muse reminds me to continue discovering the beauty of people, places, and ideas by revealing our innermost motivations, fears, challenges, and lived histories - things that are often invisible above the surface. Using mixed media on found wood, this series was inspired by the amazing creators in Erica Ross' Open Studio.
